 Tulips Orange Princess (Filled)

Classically, a bouquet always has an odd number of flowers

With its bright colors and pleasant scent, the "Orange Princess" tulip heralds the end of a dreary season. Their flowers create a warm atmosphere and can be combined very well with other plants in terms of color.

Look

The tulip has accompanied us for centuries and helped us express our spring feelings. The double tulip "Orange Princess", like the tulip "Red Princess", belongs to the category of peony tulips and has a length of at least 30 cm. These tulips impress with their bright orange color and comparatively very large, round flowers. Given their colorful appearance, these tulips are true ambassadors of spring.

Design tips

Beautiful bouquets can be created with this tulip. They are best served pure or mixed with other tulips and sometimes supplemented with green accessories in the form of branches or bushes. Color compositions are all possible in spring. For Easter or to lift your spirits, the "Orange Princess" can be arranged with all the other colors in which tulips bloom. Traditional accessories, however, include blueberry herbs, sala, pistachio or birch branches.

Care

  • Cut the stem straight with a knife, as tulips naturally have a very high water absorption capacity and otherwise they would grow back too quickly.
  • Fill the water container up to a maximum of a third and check it daily, preferably in the morning and evening, and refill it if necessary.
  • It is best to cut off all leaves except for the last bract, but especially the lower part.
  • Avoid proximity to radiators, drafts and strong sunlight.
  • Glass vases not only complement the aesthetics: their shape influences the bending behavior of the individual stems.
